This Mindset Is Worth Millions

This Mindset Is Worth Millions
Act on It When It Hits You

The other day I was chatting with a friend, and halfway through our conversation, we both fell quiet.

He looked a bit regretful and said, “You know, I heard about Google AdSense over 10 years ago. Read a ton about it online. But I never really considered building a website, putting up ads, or trying to make money from it.”

Then he said something that stuck with me:
“Man… was I trapped by my own thinking? If I had just tried something back then — even if it was just some half-baked site — I would’ve made decent money by now.”

I laughed and said, “Well, if you had done it, you’d be killing it today.”

He shook his head. “No — it’s not about killing it. It’s about having my mind opened.”

He went on to tell another story. Back in college, during winter break, he was home without internet. So he downloaded a bunch of videos to his hard drive to watch offline. One of them was a documentary about Bitcoin mining.

It talked about how people in the U.S. were ordering mining machines from China, mentioning names like Bitmain and Antminer.

“I knew it was hot even then,” he said, “but I just watched the video and moved on.”

I remembered that time too. I thought Bitcoin was just another internet scam. Lots of hype, didn’t make sense to me, and I couldn’t be bothered to dig deeper. I figured it was all just financial trickery.

He said, “You know what? Back then, you could even mine Bitcoin with a regular laptop — just slower. Sure, ASICs were faster, but the point isn’t the tech. The point is, I never even thought about trying it. Not to mine, not to buy. If I had just done a little something, things would be different now.”

Then he said a line that hit me hard:
“Just watching doesn’t make you money.”

It’s true.
We’re always watching — watching tutorials, watching trends, watching how others make money, how they succeed. But rarely do we get our own hands dirty.

We’re always waiting:
Waiting for more time, more resources, more knowledge, better timing.

But opportunity doesn’t come to those who wait.
It reveals itself after you take action.
If you don’t move, nothing moves.

Then he said something that I think every entrepreneur should write on the front page of their notebook:
“The moment you think of something, do it. Stop holding yourself back. Stop saying you lack this or that. Once you start, the rest will follow.”

That mindset alone — just act — is worth millions.

Looking back, a lot of the things we once dismissed as “beneath us” or “not worth it” were actually missed chances.
We overestimated our ability to spot trends.
And we underestimated the power of doing.

It’s 2025 now.
We’ll keep seeing new waves — AI, agents, virtual personas, digital assets, SaaS tools, automated startups, no-code platforms…

Are you still just watching?

Stop watching. Start trying.
